Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 2 ¼ cups white chocolate chips or 300 grams white chocolate bars chopped
  • ½ cup chopped dried cranberries
  • ½ cup chopped unsalted pistachios
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  • Combine the sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate in a medium-sized saucepan over low heat.
  • Stir using a silicone spatula until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Once the chocolate mixture is smooth, add the softened butter and stir until well combined. This helps to give the fudge a smooth and creamy texture.
  • Gently fold in the chopped dried cranberries and chopped pistachios until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  • Place the pan in the fridge and let the fudge chill for at least 3-4 hours, or until it is completely set.
  • Once the fudge is set, use a sharp knife to cut it into small, bite-sized pieces.

Notes

Gifting: For that extra special touch, I like to cut my fully set fudge into 16 squares, and then each square into 3 smaller pieces, giving me 48 bite-sized portions. I then individually wrap each piece in colorful, transparent candy wrappers or wax paper, twisting the ends to make them look like traditional candies. I arrange these little fudge treats in a decorative box or bag, tie them up with a festive ribbon, and even add a personalized tag. It's a heartfelt way to share my homemade fudge with friends and loved ones on any occasion!
Speedy Freezer: To enjoy your fudge sooner, place it in the freezer for 1 hour after pouring it into the pan. This quick-chill method will expedite the setting process, allowing you to cut and savor your fudge in less time. Just be sure not to leave it in the freezer for too long, as you don't want it to become overly firm.
