Juicy salmon bites coated in smoky paprika and garlic powder, air-fried until golden and crispy, then tossed in a creamy, sweet, and spicy Bang Bang sauce. This quick 15-minute dinner is bold, flavorful, and utterly addictive.
Prepare the Salmon. In a large bowl, combine the salmon pieces with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the salmon evenly in the seasoning mixture.
Preheat the Air Fryer. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes. This ensures a nice, crispy exterior on the salmon.
Cook the Salmon.Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray or brush with oil. Arrange the salmon in a single layer, leaving space between pieces. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Salmon should be golden and cooked through, with an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Make the Bang Bang Sauce. While the salmon cooks, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, hot sauce, honey, and salt in a small bowl until smooth. Taste and adjust the heat by adding more hot sauce if desired.
Coat the Salmon. Once cooked, transfer the salmon to a large bowl or serving dish. Pour the Bang Bang sauce over the top and gently toss until each piece is coated. (Alternatively, drizzle the sauce over the top for a lighter coating.)
Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions or cilantro if you like. This salmon is amazing with steamed rice, roasted veggies, or over a fresh salad.
